Puppy Basics
This 7 week class is for puppies under 6 months who have had at least their 2nd set of vaccinations. Common issues with raising a puppy will be discussed including name recognition, housetraining, appropriate toys and games, chewing, handling and proper socialization. Puppies will be introduced to basic cues such as sit, down, off, walking on a leash and coming when called. All classes will include positive socialization with other puppies and people. The first class is without dogs and is held at 7pm.

Basic Manners
This 7 week class is for dogs over 6 months who have not had previous training or who need to refresh their skills. Basic cues will include sit, down, stay, wait, off, loose leash walking, and coming when called. Classes will also include discussions on problem solving for unwanted behaviors such as jumping, chewing, and excessive barking. The first class is without dogs.

Canine Good Citizen
This 7 week class is suitable for dogs who have passed our Basic Manners class or its equivalent. Focus will be on reinforcing good manners in everyday situations. This class will help prepare owners and their dogs to take the AKC Canine Good Citizen test, which will be given at the last class.

Day Training
Day Training is available exclusively for clients of Dogtopia of Manassas and Dogtopia of Chantilly. This customized 10 day program focuses on basic good manners and specific behavior issues. Your dog will receive individual training each day while at daycare. The program also includes two private consults and written handouts to ensure successful training at home. Discounts are available for students of our Puppy Basics and Basic Manners classes.
Cost: $400.00
Private Lessons
Private lessons provide a tailored training program for your dog at a time that is best for you. Whether you want to brush up on basic manners or work on a specific behavior, private training can work for you. Private lessons are also a good alternative for dogs who may not do well in a group setting or who need help with challenging behaviors such as anxiety, fearfulness or aggression.
Cost: $85.00/hour. Travel charges may apply.
